Thursday Scribbling 23.1.14

Life is such a maze of weird situations, questions, is not it?

It’s so easy to hate those who kill innocent people because of reckless driving. But what if… what if that person cursed himself for that one minute of recklessness for the rest of his life?

What if, he drank too much to forget a deep pain, what if he dozed off for a second because he has been pushing himself too hard for studies, career…. what if …

Will it repair the damage he has done to that victim’s family members, loved ones? Will they ever be able to forgive him?

If he shows up at their door, seeking forgiveness from heart and one of them end up killing him, the one who might have been too fond of the deceased, will anyone be help to hate this murderer?

Sometimes we do mistakes, and we should repent them, but we should remember one thing, all mistakes cant be undone, and sorry or tears of repentance dont always work.

  1. I agree with you 100% certain mistakes cannot be forgiven and one must be careful on the road not to drive under any kind of influence. One can end up causing irreparable damage to someone’s life.

    • i fully agree, i too believe in driving with all senses intact, and if you have done a blunder this grave, I guess your life-long repentance is punishment enough, it should be wise if you dont directly face the people you have wronged so badly.

  2. so true..mistakes can’t be undone. words ,once out of mouth can’t be sucked back.Whatever might be reasons behind the accidents or mistakes but the damage caused can not always be compensated..

    • there are people who forgive or forget but a substantial number of people dont! directly approaching such victims may have ghastly results. one can always try to lessen his or her burden indirectly, like the girl of this movie did!

    • I really dont think those who kill people in accident ever forgive themselves, or get over that hell, why i dont know but i just dont believe it, after all, human beings are not monsters (mostly).

      • I read about the movie and think it has an interesting plot. I think forgiveness can be given but can not be expected.

      • that movie was really, really moving! I felt so sad for the girl and the man! so very sad 😦
One fault and you curse yourself for the rest of your life- what a hell!
