“Thank you Lord!” Jonas folded his hands and thanked God when he looked at the clouds gathering in eastern sky. That meant a steady, heavy rain, after a no show of months and erratic rain of four years. That meant food on his table earned from the price of his crops, not borrowed money.
The money lender banged his door every alternate day, his rooms have lost every piece of article that was worth a dime.
The clouds came real fast and covered the sky. It was pitch black, it seemed like midnight at ten, without stars of course, in place of stars or moon it was thunder and lightning.
